Europe's great roads, in the right order.

ROADTRIP builds your trip around mountain passes, lakeside roads and villages worth stopping for, with each day planned around your chosen driving time.

We use your email only to tell you when ROADTRIP launches.

One email when we launch. Nothing else.

A round trip from Calais through France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Planned in minutes with ROADTRIP, with up to eight hours of estimated driving each day.

How it works

Days of research, done before your coffee cools.

Tell ROADTRIP where you're starting and how many days you have. It plans your trip day by day, using carefully reviewed roads.

Directions by Google Maps

ROADTRIP plans your trip. Google Maps provides the turn-by-turn directions.

Roads checked by hand

We review scenic roads for road surface, access restrictions and seasonal availability before including them in our plans.

After the trip

Relive every road.

Turn each day's route into an animated replay, ready to share on Instagram Stories.

Built by a driver

Over 76,000 miles of road trips across Europe and the UK, in four cars: two naturally aspirated sports cars and two big SUVs.

Track days, Alpine passes, long motorway runs home. Along the way I dropped a pin in Google Maps on every road that stayed with me: a pass that flowed from one corner to the next, a lake road in the evening light, a village worth the detour. Over the years those pins became a map of my own, and that map became the start of ROADTRIP's road data.

The sound near the redline, a clean paddle shift, the rhythm of a good road. That's the feeling I built ROADTRIP around: the revving instruments, the gears you shift yourself, the days planned around the roads rather than the motorways between them.

Somewhere on those roads, the trips became about more than driving. I found myself grateful for the mountains and the light, grateful for the life that lets me be out there, and thinking more about the people around me. I hope ROADTRIP gives you trips like that. Whatever you drive, every day is planned around the roads worth driving.
